Nargiza Ospanova (MESc, BSc) is a Consultant Environmental Specialist at SRK Kazakhstan. She began her career with the Committee of Environmental Regulation and Control under Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Ecology, focusing on environmental control, inspection, monitoring, and reporting. In 2019, she transitioned to consulting, specializing in ESG risk assessment and ensuring renewable energy and municipal infrastructure projects comply with standards of international financial institutions such as EBRD, ADB, and AIIB.
Since joining SRK, Nargiza has contributed to mining projects in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Saudi Arabia, supporting activities from initial scoping to feasibility studies. Her work includes preparing environmental sections of comprehensive technical reports, reviewing subsoil use and environmental permitting requirements, and ensuring legislative compliance throughout project development.
