Alexander is a partner in Simmons & Simmons Public Markets Group within its UK Corporate practice and specialises in transactions involving listed issuers on both the Main Market and AIM. He also has considerable experience in mergers and acquisitions, JVs and takeovers, including reverse takeovers.

Alexander acts for both issuers and underwriters/sponsors on a range of ECM transactions including equity offerings, listings and transactions on the London markets, almost exclusively on transactions involving natural resources companies and so has been involved in many transactions in Eurasia.

Alexander is recognised in the Hall of Fame for mining in the Legal 500 and a leading individual for small and mid cap ECM and is recognised as a Leading Individual for Mining by Chambers and Partners.

Alexander’s practice also includes acting for private equity funds and sovereign wealth funds on transactions in the natural resources sector.
