Tommy Horton is the Director, Investor Relations & Corporate Development at Ivanhoe Mines, a position he has held since June 2022 in London. He focuses on advancing the Canadian mining company's three principal Southern African projects: the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex expansion, the Platreef palladium-rhodium-platinum-nickel-copper-gold project construction, and the restart of the ultra-high-grade Kipushi zinc-copper-germanium-silver mine.

Prior to Ivanhoe Mines, he served as Head of Corporate Development and Investor Relations for Adriatic Metals Plc (Feb 2021 - Jun 2022), working on the Vares silver project in Bosnia & Herzegovina and the Raska zinc deposit in Serbia. His earlier experience includes Vice President, Business Development at Giyani Metals Corp., which has manganese projects in Botswana, and Vice President Corporate Development at Pembridge Resources Plc. Since 2017, he has also served as Co-Chairman of the London Mining Club, a not-for-profit networking and educational forum.
